Designed for a wide range of Toyota diesel vehicles equipped with 2L, 2LT, 2LTE, 3L, 5L, 1KZ-T, and 1KZ-TEengines, this fan clutch delivers significantly increased airflow through the radiator when cooling demand rises.
Unlike a standard replacement clutch, the HiYota Tuned Fan Clutch lowers the fan engagement temperature and increases clutch coupling, helping maintain lower coolant temperatures during towing, mountain driving, camper conversions, overlanding, heavy loads, off-road driving, and hot summer conditions.
A viscous fan clutch is a thermostatically controlled silicone fluid coupling that automatically regulates cooling fan speed based on engine temperature. When additional cooling is required, the clutch progressively engages the mechanical fan to move substantially more air through the radiator. Once temperatures return to normal, it disengages to reduce unnecessary engine load, helping maintain efficient operation, lower noise, and improved fuel economy.
