The HiYota EGR Block-Off Kit includes everything required to properly remove and bypass the factory EGR system on Toyota vehicles equipped with the 1KZ-TE engine.

Removing the EGR system helps reduce soot buildup inside the intake manifold, improve airflow, sharpen throttle response, and may reduce excessive black smoke under load.

The exhaust block-off plate is precision machined from stainless steel and pre-tapped with a 1/8" NPT port, allowing for the optional installation of an EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) probe.

Monitoring exhaust gas temperature is highly recommended on turbo diesel engines, especially when towing, climbing long grades, driving in hot climates, or operating under heavy load. The pre-tapped exhaust block-off plate makes installation of the EGT probe quick and straightforward.
